Openair newsletter
News from the LAQN

We are pleased to inform you that a new version of the openair package is available together with updated documentation. Openair Project website

We have also released Issue 5 of the newsletter, which details new functions, examples of use together with a list of other changes since the last release in January.

We have put a lot of time into providing what we hope are useful analysis tools. A significant step forward has been the development of flexible import tools for importing LAQN and AURN data - entirely using openair and only requiring an Internet connection. These functions will continue to be developed and refined. We also have some interesting analysis techniques we are developing that will appear at a later date. The coming newsletters will increasingly focus on interpretation and analysis strategies - so if you have specific topics you would like us to focus on, then please get in touch.

We have increasingly responded to user feedback, which has been very useful to us. Many of you have made requests for specific capabilities and we have tried to implement these where we can - and more will follow. So please keep the feedback coming - we do use it.
