RSC Air Quality conference in London - call for papers

As the EU legislation covering air quality starts to bite, many problems with compliance are emerging. The compliance issues are most acute for particulate matter (PM), nitrogen dioxide and ozone, leading to breaches of Directive requirements in many member states across the EU. In addition to these regulatory issues, air quality issues are gaining a high profile in several specific cases such as airports, shipping and major international events, for example the 2012 Olympics. The conference will focus on these major current challenges and how technology and regulation should be adapting to address the challenges of the future.

The RSC AAMG 2009 Christmas conference will be introduced by internationally recognised experts to set the scene at the national and European level. It will bring together leading scientists and policy makers, and will provide a broad and up-to-date survey of regulatory and scientific issues, including health effects and future perspectives.

Papers are invited on a number of themes. For further details please follow the link below
