LAQN Measurement Seminar
News from the LAQN

Following the success of the LAQN seminar in January we are planning to hold a LAQN further seminar in 2007.

This second seminar will focus on air pollution measurement. It will be designed to support those local authorities that undertake their own site operation: providing practical tips for site operators, highlighting the importance of equipment calibration and detailing the way that calibration results are used to produce validated air pollution measurements.

The seminar will also aim to de-mystify the processes involved in the production of a final measurement data set including ratification and UKAS accredited audits. This essential perspective will therefore be relevant to all end users of air quality measurements. We will aim to get a mixture of speakers from both within King’s and from the other organisations.

At this stage we are seeking to establish numbers for the seminar. If you are interested in attending please contact admin@erg.kcl.ac.uk
