We are pleased to announce that measurements from the Newham monitoring sites can now be accessed through LondonAir. The council have operated two continuous monitoring sites in the borough for around ten years. Latest measurements from the Newham sites can now be found on Newham’s LondonAir home page by following the link below. Archive measurements can also be downloaded from the LondonAir site. The borough’s continuous monitoring programme comprises Cam Road - a roadside site in Stratford, and Wren Close - a background site in the south west of the borough. Both sites measure CO, NOX, O3, SO2 and PM10 by TEOM.

The Newham sites greatly enhance the London network’s coverage in east London and around the Olympic Park. The inclusion of the Newham sites means that the LAQN now includes measurements from all London boroughs that have continuous monitoring.
