In March this year ERG launched a prototype iPhone Application which allowed users to access real-time pollution measurements from over 100 monitoring stations across the London Air Quality Network.
Over the last few months we've been busy building a brand new fully featured version with Google Maps integration, network means, My Sites and Push Notifications.
It’s nearly finished, but before we submit it to iTunes we’d love you to help test it for us by using it over the holidays.
If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch and you’d like to help, please email your Device ID to iphone@erg.kcl.ac.uk and we'll send you the app early next week with instructions on how to install it. Please feel free to nominate a friend or colleague also.
Finding your Device ID
- Connect the iPhone or iPod Touch to your Mac or PC.
- On the "Summary" tab in iTunes, click the "Serial Number" label. You'll notice "Serial Number" changes to "Identifier".
- Click on "Edit" in the menu at the top and select "Copy".
