Experts on air quality from the Environmental Research Group will be taking over the King’s College London Twitter feed @KingsCollegeLon on Thursday 06 October 2016 for two hours from midday to answer questions on air pollution and air quality science.

So, whether you want to find out more about air quality measurement, what you can do to help improve air quality for everyone, the effect of pollution on your body or even the possible next steps for policymakers, tweet us @KingsCollegeLon with the hashtag #AskPollution to put your question to our panel of experts.

Our scientists will be answering questions on various topics relating to air pollution, air quality and measurement. Joining us online will be a cross section of experts from the Environmental Research Group including:

• Professor Frank Kelly - Director of the Environmental Research Group and an expert on free radical/antioxidant biochemistry and the impact of atmospheric pollution on human health
• Dr Sean Beevers - Senior Lecturer in Air Quality Monitoring and an expert on air quality models and the impacts of transport strategy on air quality
• Dr Gary Fuller - Senior Lecturer in Air Quality Measurement and an expert on trends and changes in urban air pollution, having led the development of the London Air Quality Network
• Dr Ben Barratt - Lecturer in Air Quality Science and an expert on pollution monitoring, air quality networks, personal monitoring and exposure and low emission zones
