Air Quality Award

Over the past decade, through the prestigious annual Sustainable City Awards, the City of London Corporation has rewarded over 160 organisations, from corporate multinationals to charities and family owned businesses, for their outstanding achievements in sustainable development.

This year, in association with Environmental Protection UK and the Environment Research Group at King’s College London, there will be an Air Quality Award for any UK organisation that has been working on innovative measures to reduce emissions and help improve local air quality.

The Sustainable Cities Awards would like to hear from you if you are:

  • a business that has incorporated air quality policy into Corporate Responsibility
  • a local authority implementing innovative measures to improve air quality
  • a construction company going the extra mile to reduce emissions
  • an organisation undertaking valuable research into air quality
  • an organisation working to raise the awareness of air quality through public engagement
  • any other body working to improve air quality in the UK

To apply for a Sustainable City Award, please visit City of London

The closing date is 1st November 2010. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Mansion House, the Lord Mayor’s official residence, on Thursday 3rd February 2011.
