Sustainable City award for air quality
News from the LAQN

For the last 13 years the Sustainable City Awards have recognised and rewarded UK organisations, from multinational companies and local authorities to small charities and businesses, for outstanding achievements and innovation across all aspects of sustainability.

An air quality award was successfully introduced to the scheme in 2010, attracting a large number of high quality applications. The Air Quality Improvement category recognises and rewards innovation and best practice in reducing emissions of air quality pollutants and mitigating the effects of business activities on local air quality. The past winners of the Sustainable City Award for Air Quality were Clean Air in London, Invisible Dust, the Greater London Authority and Nomura International plc and past runners up have included Sheffield City Council, Gnewt Cargo and GetMoreBikes.
