iPhone Nowcast Release Beta Test
News from the LAQN

ERG are continuing to update their popular London & Sussex Air iPhone applications with the latest innovations. Until now the map section of the app displayed monitoring sites with badges to represent their current pollution banding level.

The new 4.0 release uses the latest hourly readings from the London network and combines these with a modelled map of London to produce a ‘Nowcast’ real-time map of pollution levels across the whole of London to 20 metre resolution. We believe this is a first for pollution mapping on a mobile device and we’d love you to help us test it before we release it to the public.

If you or anyone you know has an iPhone or iPod Touch and would like to try out the latest update please email erg-iphone@kcl.ac.uk with your device ID and we’ll send you the app and some installation instructions.
