For a number of years ERG have been liaising with Equipment Support Units (ESUs) to minimise data loss.

We use automated database systems to track instrument malfunctions from identification to repair and feed this data back to the ESUs on a daily basis to ensure smooth operation of air quality monitoring sites.

This feedback loop provides ESUs with a valuable way of assessing their response on a daily and long-term basis. Furthermore, it provides customers and potential customers with an independent assessment of ESU performance. One of the ESUs, SupportingU, has started to publish this data on their website which is linked below.
