LondonAir has won first place in Air Quality Bulletin’s annual web site awards. Each year Air Quality Bulletin reviews over 500 air quality web sites. In addition to receiving first prize, LondonAir was commended for the provision of public information and also for "drawing together London borough air quality professionals as a community."
Air quality manager Gary Fuller said, "The provision of air quality information is at the core of our work and we are very proud to receive this award. In true Oscar style I would like to acknowledge the work of our web team, Sam Hope-Evans, Robert Hepburn and Ben Barratt. We are very grateful for the sponsorship provided the Mayor of London and the Environment Agency. Most of all we would like to thank the London boroughs, Transport for London and the local authorities around London that contribute measurements to LondonAir".
