New London Air mobile site launched
News from the LAQN

Since its launch in September 2011, the London Air mobile site has hosted nearly a quarter of a million visits. The rapid growth in the use of smartphones and tables over the last few years has meant that the mobile version of the site now accounts for over half of all visits to London Air.

In response to this, King's have launched a brand new version of the site, optimised for mobile, featuring a greatly enhanced experience and a broader range of features.

The new site includes:

  • Maps - All hourly and annual maps for all pollutants.
  • Forecast - The pollution forecast for today and tomorrow.
  • Alerts - Pollution events from the network in the last hour.
  • Health advice - Government health advice relating to monitoring levels and forecasts.
  • Videos - Access to London Air's ten video primers on air pollution in London.
  • News - The latest news from the group.

  • Communicating air quality to the pubic is a core part of our work at King's where we continue to develop and improve the way users access air quality information in London. Our thanks to Paul McIlreavy, a long-time friend and collaborator for his work on this new site.
