News from the LAQN

The 2013 London Air Quality Network seminar will take place on 21st June in the Strand Campus of King’s College London. This year’s seminar will have sessions focusing on the challenges posed by London’s air pollution, the possible solutions to these challenges and tackling air pollution as a public health issue.

The event will be chaired by Elliott Treharne from the GLA and Sarah Honour from Defra. In addition to speakers from King’s we are very pleased to be able announce presentations from:

  • Michal Krzyzanowski, former regional adviser on air quality at the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe and now visiting Professor at King’s College London,
  • Paul Holly from the Department of Health,
  • John Newington from Maidstone Borough Council,
  • Malti Varshney from Kent Public Health
  • Finn Coyle from Transport for London.


This year’s seminar is free to our funding organisations, project partners and collaborators along with academic researchers, NGOs, members of the press and political representatives. To book your place please contact valentina.lotti@kcl.ac.uk
