Job Vacancy: Field Lab Assistant

London’s air pollution monitoring network is the most advanced of any city in Europe. It combines regulatory and research measurements to provide public information and a unique scientific and policy resource. We are seeking a field laboratory assistant to operate and calibrate equipment, and to undertake filter analysis in our laboratories at Waterloo.

The post holder should have technical experience of operating laboratory equipment and understand the process of calibration and quality assurance.

This is a full-time post offered on an indefinite contract (job share considered).

The salary will be paid at Grade 4, £23,879 - £26,829 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance.

The selection process will include an initial application followed by a presentation, competency and experience-based questions and assessment at panel interview. Closing date: 10 November 2016.
