Top 20 place for CityAir app
News from the LAQN

CityAir has been featured in this week’s top twenty apps in the Guardian Newspaper by technology writer Stuart Dredge. In his review Stuart says, "It's a good time for City Air to be live on the App Store: with London recently suffering a Sahara-fuelled smog, plenty of people should be interested in an app promising to help them reduce their exposure to murky air. Released by King's College and the City of London Corporation, it provides forecasts and advice - and may well make you think more about the general subject of air pollution too."

Dr Gary Fuller from King’s said, "This is a great compliment to our team here and to the app designers and developers that we work with. This app, along with LondonAir, shows what is possible. There is a huge opportunity for app developers to use their creativity and skills to inform people about the invisible air pollution around them. Many developers have already applied for free access to our systems through API data feeds. From Early May we will be making access to our systems even easier through the use of the Open Government Data Licence ."
